Terms of Service

Upvotecast (upvotecast.app, “Upvotecast”, “we”) is operated by Robin Champsaur, [Company / address], France. Contact: contact@upvotecast.app.

These terms apply when you use Upvotecast. By creating an account or using the service you accept them, along with our Privacy Policy. If you use Upvotecast for a company, you accept them on its behalf.

Upvotecast helps you post on Reddit. It analyzes a subreddit from its rules and public posts (self-promotion limits, best times, formats, title patterns), suggests communities for your product (Discover), checks a post you wrote against a subreddit, and can rewrite your post to fix the problems the check found (Apply fixes).

Upvotecast doesn't write posts from scratch and never posts, comments, votes or sends messages on Reddit for you. You decide what to post, and you post it yourself.

Upvotecast is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Reddit, Inc.

• You sign in with a Google account. You must be at least 16 and able to enter into a contract where you live.
• One person per account. Keep access to your Google account secure; you're responsible for what happens under your account.
• Connecting a Reddit account is optional. It only adds your own Reddit stats to your dashboard.

The free plan includes 3 analyses, 2 Discover scans, 10 post checks and 3 fixes each month. Paid plans (Starter $10/month or $100/year, Creator $25/month or $250/year, Pro $50/month or $500/year) raise these quotas as shown on the pricing page. No plan is unlimited.

Quotas apply per monthly usage period and reset at the start of the next one; unused quotas don't carry over. When a quota runs out, that action is unavailable until the reset or until you upgrade. Public analyses at upvotecast.app/r are free and don't count.

• Paid plans are subscriptions, billed in advance for a month or a year through Stripe, in US dollars. Taxes are added where the law requires.
• A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price, until you cancel.
• If we change a price, we'll tell you at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal. You can cancel before then.
• If a payment fails, we may pause paid features until it's resolved.

You can cancel anytime from your account (Manage billing opens the Stripe billing portal). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period: you keep your plan until then and aren't charged again. You can also delete your account, which cancels the subscription.

We don't refund partial months or years: after cancelling you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. If something went wrong on our side, write to contact@upvotecast.app and we'll look at it.

If you're a consumer in the EU, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a new subscription. Because the service starts right away at your request, if you withdraw within those 14 days we refund what you paid minus an amount in proportion to what you used before withdrawing. To withdraw, write to contact@upvotecast.app within the 14 days.

When you use Upvotecast, and when you post what you prepared with it, you agree not to:

• spam, mass-post, astroturf, manipulate votes, or evade a subreddit or Reddit ban; follow Reddit's User Agreement, Content Policy and each subreddit's rules;
• post anything illegal, deceptive, hateful or that infringes someone else's rights;
• get around quotas or limits, for example with several accounts or automated requests;
• scrape, resell or redistribute the service or its output as your own dataset or product;
• probe, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or access other users' data.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, after a warning when that's reasonable.

What you enter (product descriptions, posts, drafts) stays yours. You give us the permission we need to store and process it to run the service for you, including sending it to our AI provider as described in the Privacy Policy.

You may use the analyses, checks and rewrites Upvotecast produces for you. They're generated by AI from public data and can be incomplete or wrong; review them before you rely on them, and review every rewrite before you post it.

Upvotecast gives you information and suggestions, not outcomes. We don't guarantee upvotes, comments, traffic, sales, or that a post won't be removed or your account won't be restricted. Moderators and Reddit decide what stays up, and rules change. A “ready” check means our analysis found no problem, not that a moderator will agree.

We work to keep Upvotecast available but don't promise it will be uninterrupted. It depends on third parties (Reddit's API, Google, Stripe, our AI provider and hosts). We may change or remove features; if a change substantially reduces what a paid plan includes, you can cancel and we'll refund the unused part of your current period.

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost profits, lost business, removed posts, account bans on Reddit), and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or anything else that can't be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

You can stop using Upvotecast and delete your account at any time from your account page. We may end the service for everyone with at least 30 days' notice, refunding the unused part of any prepaid period.

These terms are governed by French law. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim there. Before going to court, please write to us so we can try to settle it. French consumers can also use a free consumer mediator: [Consumer mediator name and website].

We may update these terms. For a change that matters, we'll tell signed-in users by email or in the app at least 30 days before it applies. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then.
